was made towards an $11,500 challenge made by Fran Azur who continues to invest
in organizations serving his hometown

’s economic and community development.
The Newport City Renaissance Corporation raised funds to support this
year’s
Newport
Film Festival. On Sunday, September 30th the
Newport
Film Festival will wrap up its premiere season with Jay Craven introducing
“Where the Rivers Flow North,” and discussing it with the audience after the
screening. The film will be shown at the historic Goodrich Memorial Library on
Main Street
