The Barn - Strategically located on Route 100 in Lowell, Vermont, the Barn represents our most obvious "when you see it"  reference point for travelers around here.   Built in 1865, it represents the essence of post and beam construction of that era, and remains one of its finest examples.  Preserved without paint, but with a lot of love, luck and Yankee hard work, it symbolizes the idea behind the creation of Kingdom Commons.

Built as part of a "barn raising" using only local talent and materials, it represents the same community values and commitment to long-lasting quality and sense of community that the products for which Kingdom Commons stands.  Like the people and the land, it remains our inspiration for a "sustainable Kingdom".

Route 100 is the lifeline for "The Northeast Kingdom" in that it is the route most traveled from Burlington, Vermont's largest city, to the Northeast Kingdom .    Our location guarantees that wherever you are, "you can get there from here".
