Personal Care Products - Jean Elizabeth's Soap & Co.

Jean Elizabeth's Soap & Co. is located in the beautiful town of Concord, Vermont, chartered in 1780 . The tradition of soap-making in Vermont is well-established. It was in Vermont in 1790, that US Patent Number One, signed by George Washington, was issued to Samuel Hopkins of Pittsford, for a process he had developed for making potash. Vermont's first main economy was founded on this ingredient of soap.

Jean Elizabeth produces handmade soap products such as Birch, Comfrey Mint, Gardner's Friend, Hippie Hemp, Lavender Oatmeal, Rosemary Lime, and Sportsman's. Non-soap specialties include Shoo Fly Herbal Bug Repellent (this stuff really works!) and Lotsa Lotion Bars (in their own small carrying pouch, the lotion absorbs quickly into the skin).
